“She Wasn’t Like Regular Girls…”

SHOT BY: @Nataalis on Instagram

AT: Peninsula Park Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon

“SHE WAS A FAIRY”

MAKEUP DEETS:

The eyes were adorned with a variety of shimmers, from the Killawat Highlighters by Fenty, to the Pink Glitter Eyeshadows in the “Amrezy” Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills, paired with the “Lightscapade” MAC Highlighter to add extra beam to the brow bones. All of the main eyeshadow work was done with the “Hi-Fi” Palette, with an extended glitter wing liner from Julia’s Place - really put there to cover up the uneven line work. (but was gorgeous and we’re obsessed)
Wearing NW43 SFFX along with my NC47 Pro-Longwear Concealer.
The lipstick contained an undertone of the discontinued “Indigo” blue lipstick from MAC, but I slaved an entire 8hr work shift before this shoot - so I ended up lining my top lip with “Perpetual Shock” Blue Gel Waterproof Eyeliner, also by MAC. This was mostly to be sure that in the event that I ended up late, having Uber/traffic turmoil, or my usual guaranteed minor inconveniences - I would NOT end up taking photos with my overdrawn lips WORN OFF!
(I’ve pulled those kinds of stunts before and that was absolutely not the vision)
The actual lips were stained with my signature “Flat Out Fabulous” Lipstick bullet, and topped with the discontinued, but recently brought back, “Haku” lipstick by MAC - providing that purple pearlescent sheer tone.
and of course, I finished off with some random gloss I made back in the dorms… because it was the best glittery one hit wonder to ever hit the market.

THE INSPIRATION

“From the tender age of childhood, I have longed to be a fairy, dancing among the flowers and whispering secrets to the wind. That desire has woven itself into the fabric of my being, leaving me to wonder if this yearning will ever fade. Tinkerbell, with her shimmering wings and fierce spirit, illuminated my world through her film franchise, shaping my understanding of self-purpose and the magic that lies within.”

As I planned this photoshoot, I intended to pay homage to the bittersweet journey through the enchanting yet odd landscapes of Oregon. It reflects both the triumphs and trials I've faced, a tapestry of success and failure that has ultimately led me to a clearer vision of who I am meant to be. With each click of the camera, I celebrate the growth that has emerged from the shadows, embracing the person God crafted me to be, a little more certain and a little more free.

THE OFFICIAL INSPO COLLAGE

To capture this ethereal vibe, I initially planned to wear the pink mesh top with the butterfly display, but I found a teal corset last minute at Windsor

- so naturally, I died for it.
